Hi Troy Orchestra Parents!

The following are the upcoming events for your Troy High Orchestra students!

All City Orchestra Concert: On May 3rd and May 4th in the Troy High Auditorium at 7:00 PM. Each student will play on only ONE of the two nights as decided in class, with the exception of the inner circle of Symphony and the Fiddlers, all of whom will play both nights. So please ask your student when they will perform and please plan on attending. There is no fee to attend. Let's show our support. Call-time (for Symphony and Concert) is 6:30 pm at Orchestra room.

Concerto Concert: May 25th. Rehearsal is on May 24th. Concert and Symphony (Orchestra and Band) Orchestra perform for this concert. The concert highlights the graduating seniors and the featured soloists are our graduating seniors. As usual all parents/students are welcome to attend. There is no fee to attend. During this concert we will decorate the stage with Spring flowers that we are selling to the members in the audience. Please help us by pre-purchasing these flower pots ahead of time.

Orchestra Banquet: May 31st at the San Marino Club in Troy. The senior students are free, but do need to RSVP. The deadline to RSVP is May 20th. We have to give our final count to the restaurant then, so please be on time!

Freshman Concert: June 2nd. Rehearsal is on June 1st. This is known as the "Concert of the Future". The THS Freshman will perform with the 8th graders from Smith and Boulan. We would like all freshman parents to attend and show your support for your students. There is no fee to attend.

Yearbook: We will be producing an Orchestra Yearbook that will be available for purchase. More information to follow. Seniors, if you have not submitted your picture and your Bio, please do so as soon as possible. Guidelines are here.

Troy High has provided the orchestra a storage area at the back of the stage. If you have OATH equipment at your home, please contact Carol Mazurek at 248-217-6603. She will arrange for you to bring this equipment to school for storage.
